2. Eligibility

RefactorMind is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet the age requirement and are legally allowed to enter into this agreement.

3. Account Creation & Authentication

You may be required to create an account to access certain features. Authentication is handled via a secure third-party provider (Firebase). We do not store or have access to your password at any time.

4. Plans & Pricing

RefactorMind offers a multi-tiered feature system:

• Sapphire (Free): Access to essential tools and core cognitive features.
• Emerald (Pro): Unlocks advanced modules and higher usage flexibility. Requires subscription.
• Ruby (Elite): Grants full feature access including experimental AI-powered tools. Requires subscription.

All pricing and upgrade flows are transparently shown on our Pricing Page. Upgrades are handled through integrated third-party checkout services. By subscribing, you authorize the processing of recurring charges if applicable.

5. Refunds & Cancellations

Due to the nature of digital services, we do not offer automatic refunds. If you encounter an issue, please reach out to us at refactormind@gmail.com — we review all concerns on a case-by-case basis.

6. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose and not to engage in any activity that could harm or disrupt the platform or other users. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Attempting to reverse-engineer or interfere with the system infrastructure.
• Uploading harmful, misleading, or inappropriate content.
• Using bots or scripts to misuse resources or artificially generate activity.

7. Data Handling

We collect and store limited user data necessary for personalization and usage tracking (e.g., profile picture, tier level, username). All data is stored securely in Firestore and is used solely to operate and improve your experience on RefactorMind. See our Privacy Policy for details.

8. AI-Generated Outputs

Some features of RefactorMind utilize AI APIs (e.g., for reasoning assistance). Outputs are generated automatically based on user input and should be reviewed before relying on them for important decisions. You retain ownership over your input and usage data; we do not claim rights over your ideas or creative content.

9. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, branding, visuals, and original platform features are property of RefactorMind and may not be copied or redistributed without explicit permission.

10. Availability & Changes

We aim to provide a stable and reliable experience. However, certain features may be modified, paused, or removed without notice as part of ongoing development. Access to paid features may vary depending on your subscription tier.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any user who violates these Terms, abuses the platform, or compromises the experience of others.

12. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including data loss or disruptions caused by third-party services or system issues.
